Special Tours at the St. Lambrecht Abbey Museum

The collections of the Abbey Museum offer an interesting glimpse into the more than 900-year history of the Benedictine Abbey.
The museum is open to visitors as part of guided tours. The art history and folklore collections feature valuable carved sculptures and panel paintings, as well as objects depicting rural life in the early 20th century.
Also worth seeing are the Prelates’ Hall, with its portraits of benefactors and abbots, the Baroque Lambrecht Nativity Scene, and the Bird Museum.
The guided tours cover the history and present-day life of the monastery. You’ll see the figures from the Baroque nativity scene, as well as a folklore collection by Father Romuald Pramberger and an ornithological collection by Father Blasius Hanf.
In the Prelates’ Hall, you can admire the portraits of benefactors and abbots.

Guided tours of the abbey for groups of 10 or more by appointment
Admission: Adults €9.00 / Children €6.00 (Group discount €8.00/€5.00)
